Ardbeg wanted to bring the soul of Islay to whisky lovers across the U.S.—no passport required. To bridge the gap between a remote origin story and a growing global audience, we developed a fully immersive brand experience. The solution blended storytelling, technology, and sensory engagement to transport consumers straight to the distillery’s rugged coast.

At the cutting edge of its time, we developed the storyboards and scripts for three SKU-specific Ardbeg journeys, collaborating with a VR production team to capture content on location in Islay. Designed for Oculus, each immersive experience blended education and storytelling—bringing the world of Ardbeg to life in a new and memorable way.

We took the Ardbeg experience on the road, outfitting a custom bus to deliver the Ultimate Islay Escape across the country. From interior design and sampling stations to the full VR setup, every detail was considered to turn a single sip into a fully immersive brand journey.
